Hello, i’m Simon. I got into this thing through hearing Jamaican Ska when I was a teenager. I started collecting Jamaican music seriously when I left school, and for a long time I was very blinkered and obsessive and only interested in listening to and going to Reggae nights. Thankfully over the years my horizons have broadened and I now listen and collect all sorts of music. However, Jamaican music will always be my main passion.
Six years ago I started up a small night in my home town, of Luton, called WORK YOUR SOUL, a night specialising in vintage black dance music. Over the past few years I have been fortunate to play all over the UK have been invited over to Europe several times. This will be my second time in Italy and I cannot wait!
